Founder & Creative Director, CURATE

With over a decade of experience in luxury event planning, floral design, and hospitality, I bring a unique, full-circle approach to creating events that are beautiful, intentional, and unforgettable.

As a luxury event planner based in Dallas, I specialize in producing seamless, high-touch experiences for clients who value creativity, elegance, and meaning in their celebrations.

After graduating from Southern Methodist University, I began my career as a trained florist before joining a prominent Dallas event venue. From there, I moved into event rental sales, then into catering management with Wolfgang Puck at the Nasher Sculpture Center, and later served as the event director for Genesis Women’s Shelter. Most recently, I co-founded Chef Akan Experiences, a boutique catering company known for its bespoke menus and intimate, detail-driven events.

My diverse background allows me to approach every celebration with a deep understanding of event flow, guest experience, and refined aesthetics, ensuring that no detail is ever overlooked.

CURATE was born out of a desire to offer full-service event planning and floral design in Dallas for unique weddings, milestone birthdays, elevated dinner parties, nonprofit galas, and creative brand experiences.

Rooted in Experience, Inspired by Travel
Having lived years aboard in Germany and Japan and traveled extensively since childhood, I bring a global perspective to every event. From Turkish coastlines to the charm of European Christmas markets, my design aesthetic is influenced by culture, connection, and the beauty of intentional gatherings.
